Found a wallet in the grocery store parking lot and it took me 3 hours to return it
I was at the Food Mart on Elm Street last Thursday and saw a wallet on the ground by my truck. I opened it to find an ID, some cash, and a bunch of cards. The right thing was to get it back to the owner, but it was a whole process. I called the number on a gym card inside, which led me to call the gym, who then had to call the member. All told, from finding it to finally meeting the guy at a gas station, it took over 3 hours of my afternoon. It felt good to do it, but man, it ate up way more time than I thought. Has anyone else had a simple good deed turn into a half-day project?
