Found my neighbor's wallet in the gutter while cleaning gutters last Tuesday
It had $320 cash in it and I knew he was out of work right now. I gave it back but part of me wondered if keeping it would have been wrong since he probably claimed the cash wasn't his anyway. Has anyone else been in that spot where doing the right thing felt almost stupid?

320 bucks is a lot of groceries. You did the right thing.

Read somewhere that karma tends to find people who do the right thing eventually.

Karma tends to find people" - yeah I kinda believe that. My buddy left his wallet at a gas station once with like 200 bucks in it and some random guy drove 20 minutes to return it to his house. Two weeks later that same guy got rear ended on the highway and my buddy happened to be the first person at the scene with a tire iron to help pry his door open. Weird how stuff like that lines up sometimes.
