Just spent 4 hours fixing a color correction that should have taken 45 minutes
Client came in with a botched box dye job that had a weird green cast. The pigment was way more stubborn than I thought, and I had to do three separate color removers before I could even start the new formula. Has anyone else had a nightmare with green tones from drugstore color?
Oh man, that green cast is the worst. I had a client come in with a dark box dye that went swampy. It took two rounds of color remover just to lift it enough to see what we were working with. The green clung to her mids like it was superglue. Ended up having to use a direct dye filler before the new color would even think about holding. Those drugstore formulas can be so unpredictable.
