Finally got the color match on that 1920s oak sideboard
Three years ago, a client in Savannah gave me this beautiful piece with a huge water stain on the top. I tried every stain mix I could think of and never got it right. Last month, I found an old can of Minwax Golden Oak at a yard sale, mixed it with a bit of walnut, and it was perfect. Has anyone else had a piece that took years to figure out?
