A client in Phoenix changed my mind about using wax on painted pieces

She brought in a chipped dresser she'd painted herself and asked me to 'make it feel old and loved, not just worn out.' I was about to suggest a clear coat, but she insisted on a dark wax over the paint. Seeing how the wax settled into the chips and gave it instant depth totally sold me. Anyone have a favorite brand of furniture wax for this kind of work?

Instant depth" is exactly why I switched to wax, it gives that worn-in look clear coats just can't match.

Yeah, that worn-in look is what I'm always going for too... it just feels more real.

Wait, @troy996, you're going for a worn-in look on purpose?
