Found a wallet at the grocery store and actually got it back to the owner
It was stuffed with cash and cards, sitting on a shelf by the cereal. I turned it in to the customer service desk, and the manager called the guy right away. Has anyone else had that moment where doing the simple right thing just feels surprisingly good?

Totally get what you mean about that surprisingly good feeling. I found a phone on a park bench last year, screen was still on. I just called the last number labeled "Mom" and met up with them to return it. The relief on that kid's face made my whole week. It's a simple choice but it really does stick with you.

Man, that's awesome! I found a set of keys in a shopping cart once and just waited by the car it matched. The guy was so happy he almost cried, and that feeling is just the best. It really does make your day.

Remembering that feeling is what keeps me trying to do the right thing. It's like, the world feels so heavy sometimes, but those tiny moments of helping someone actually lift you up too. Makes you believe in people again, you know? I mean, it costs nothing to be decent, but the payback for your own mood is huge.
