The cheapest injector puller actually worked better than my Snap On one
I was sure my $40 harbor freight puller would snap first time I used it on a stubborn 6.7 Powerstroke injector. Three hours later it had the injector out without bending or breaking, while my buddy's Snap On tool slipped twice. Has anyone else had a cheap tool surprise them like that?

Did you really just go full send without heating it first? I gotta say, I was one of those guys who thought you HAD to spend big money on tools or they'd break. That Harbor Freight puller completely changed my mind though. I've used it on three Powerstrokes now and it's held up way better than I expected. My old Snap On one sits in the bottom of my toolbox collecting dust because this cheap thing just Works. It's not fancy but it gets the job done without slipping.

You ever had to heat the housing first or just went full send with the HF puller?
