PSA: That weird coolant leak on a 6.7 Powerstroke might not be the usual spot

I was doing a routine service on a 2015 F-250 in the shop yesterday and saw a small puddle under the degas bottle, but the bottle itself was dry. After pulling the intake manifold, I found a tiny crack in the plastic coolant crossover pipe that sits under it, something you'd never see from the top. Has anyone else run into this specific failure on the later 6.7s, or did I just get lucky?

My 2017 had that exact same crack last winter.

That's the third 2017 I've heard about with the same crack in the same spot. What is it with that model year? Did they use a bad batch of plastic or something? Makes you wonder if there was a recall that nobody heard about.
