Picked a Bosch injector over a Denso on that old International and it ran rough for 2 weeks straight

I swapped in a Bosch reman injector on a 2000 International 4700 with the 7.3 and the number 3 cylinder misfired something fierce till I finally pulled it and went with the Denso like everyone said to, has anyone else had mismatched injectors cause chaos like that on an old HEUI system?

Yeah, I had the same problem on a 2000 model with the 7.3. Mixed an old injector with a reman one and it just never ran right. I stuck with all Denso from then on and it smoothed out.

johns18 nailed it, mixing old and new injectors is just asking for trouble lol. Glad you got yours sorted out that way, solid advice for anyone dealing with the 7.3.
