Parts guy in Amarillo told me to quit buying house brand fuel filters
Was killing time at the counter while he pulled a water pump for my 6.7 and he said most of the cheap fuel filters on the shelf let enough trash through to chew up injectors. He showed me a return bin with 9 of them in one week, all from guys chasing the $12 price tag instead of the $40 one. Did the math on a set of injectors and that cheap filter stopped looking like a deal real fast. What filters are you all actually trusting on these newer diesels?
