For 2 years I was putting oil filters on upside down without realizing it

I could not figure out why my trucks kept leaking after changes until a customer watched me one day and just said 'that's the wrong end, buddy.' Has anyone else had a moment where you found out you've been doing something basic completely backwards for years?

Claim upside down filters work better actually, they drain faster that way.
