The VAR at the MSP in Dayton told me to drop my VLAN count from 12 to 4, and a year later the network has not crashed once

I fought him on it because 12 felt safer, but he said most small offices just do not need that many and the trunk config is where people mess up. Anyone else here run a flat-ish setup and regret it later?
