Hit 50 site installs this month, and I'm questioning my pricing strategy

I just wrapped my 50th managed switch deployment for a retail chain in Newark, and the time per site dropped to 4 hours from my usual 7. That efficiency gain caught me off guard because I quoted based on my old pace, so I basically left $1,500 on the table across the project. Has anyone else hit a milestone where you realized your rates no longer match your actual workflow speed?

That's a really good problem to have, if you think about it. You're right, the time per site dropping that much means your old pricing was based on a slower, less experienced version of yourself. I hit the same wall when I got into a groove with some local coffee shop installs. I had my process so dialed in that I was finishing in half the time I quoted, and I felt almost guilty cashing those checks. I had to remind myself that the customer is paying for the result, not the hours, but the math was still kind of hard to ignore. I kicked myself for not raising my rates when I first noticed the pattern. I finally just bumped my base rate up a bit and told myself it covers the speed, or else I'd spend the whole project feeling like I was stealing. It's a nice problem to have in terms of demand, but it's a real signal to change how you quote moving forward.
