Can we talk about how a 2011 forum post changed my whole view on VLANs?
I was digging through an old networking forum and found a 2011 post where some guy in Ohio said he stopped using VLANs everywhere and just ran separate cheap switches per department. At first I thought it was lazy, but then I remembered how many times I've chased a trunk issue at 2am. Now I'm wondering if I should try it at my office, anyone else gone back to dumb switches on purpose?
