Warning: stop cranking your grinder to the finest setting for pour over
I keep seeing people online set their Comandante to 15 clicks for V60 and wonder why their brew takes 5 minutes. I've been making pour over since 2018 and found that 22-24 clicks gives you a clean 3 minute draw down with way less bitterness. Has anyone else tested coarser settings and noticed better flavor?

Oh man, I feel you on this one, it's such a common mistake.

Wait, are you suggesting 15 clicks is way too fine for a V60? I've been dialing in around 18-20 on my Comandante and getting smooth cups with a 3:30 draw down that I really enjoy. But I might try going coarser to see if it cuts down on that occasional bitter note I get toward the end of the bag.

Yeah 18-20 was my sweet spot too on the Comandante... anything finer and I'd get that same bitterness by the end of the bag. Going a couple clicks coarser cleaned it right up for me.
