Unpopular opinion: my $8 thrift store drip pot makes better coffee than my buddy's fancy setup
He brews with a scale and a gooseneck and his cup still tastes thin next to my battered plastic Melitta, and I think most people overthink the gear. Anyone else find a cheap old brewer they keep going back to?
