The week my espresso machine turned against me
Last Tuesday my Baratza Sette 270 just died mid-grind. I'm talking loud grinding noise then nothing. Had to drive 45 minutes to the only repair shop in Pittsburgh who could look at it. They said the gearbox was stripped and it would be 3 weeks for parts. So I'm back to my old hand grinder and I swear my shots taste like battery acid now. Has anyone else had a grinder fail right when you needed it the most?
