The day I wasted 2 hours trying to fix a simple espresso machine issue

Last week my Breville machine just stopped pulling shots. No steam, no pressure, nothing. I spent a solid 2 hours watching YouTube videos, taking apart the group head, and even ordering a new gasket online. Turns out the water reservoir just wasn't seated right after I filled it. The little click was missing and it wouldn't prime. Has anyone else spent way too long on a really obvious fix like this?

Are you sure you actually wasted two hours or just learned how your machine works?

Respectfully, I see it as time I could have spent actually doing something with that machine instead of fighting with it. Learning how it works is great, but not when you're stuck on day one.
