That barista at the little shop in Madison talked me out of buying a pour over kit and into a $20 Aeropress instead
He showed me how the Aeropress makes a cleaner cup in half the time and pulled out his personal one to prove it, so has anyone else had a coffee pro steer you away from the trendy gear?

Madison Square Garden? That Guy could sell ice to Eskimos. My barista once talked me out of a fancy grinder and into a hand-crank one that makes me feel like I’m cranking a Model T, but the coffee’s good enough I don’t even miss the cord.
