Just admitted I was wrong about pre-ground coffee after 10 years
I always thought grinding fresh was pure snobbery until a barista in Portland handed me a cup from beans ground 2 hours ago and I couldn't tell the difference. What's the actual cutoff time where freshness matters, or am I just missing something?

Man, I tried a blind taste test last week and couldn't tell 10-minute-old grounds from 3-day-old.
