Hit 500 home brews this morning and I'm honestly shocked

I started keeping track during lockdown in 2020 out of boredom, and this morning I brewed my 500th cup at home. It took me until batch 420ish to realize my grind setting was way off for my V60 setup. I live in Denver and the altitude change really messed with my timing at first. Has anyone else tracked their brew count and hit a number that surprised them?

Wow, that's a lot of trial and error to dial it all in.

Stick with it because once you get past that initial headache it becomes second nature. I remember spending a whole weekend just swapping out different springs and shims until I found the combo that worked for my setup. The key is to change ONE thing at a time and write it down, otherwise you'll end up chasing your tail for weeks. Also check if your bolt carrier group is properly lubed, dry guns will throw off all your tuning.
