He asked what size flue I was running and when I said 8x8 he just shook his head and said 'you been using a 6 inch round brush this whole time?' which made me pull every job sheet from the last 3 months and realize I was leaving creosote on the corners of every square flue I touched, so now I'm wondering what other basics I picked up wrong when I was learning on my own.
