PSA: Stop scraping with the brush going up, run it down first

Been doing this 12 years in Pittsburgh and every new guy I see starts at the top, pushing soot into the room before they even get a sheet down. Run the brush bottom to top on the first pass, it packs the flue liner instead of dumping on your customer's rug. Anyone else notice their callbacks drop when they flip the order?
