Customer told me my brush technique was leaving lines in his flue

Last Tuesday a guy in his 60s pointed out I was going too fast with the poly brush and missing the top third of the flue. He showed me his father's old method of slow figure-eights with a steady push. Anyone else get schooled by a homeowner who knew more than you?

Yeah those old guys have seen it all. Slow and steady wins.

Yeah 'seen it all' really hits, that experience usually makes up for any lost speed.
