Wasted $60 on cheap stick-on cabinet handles and they started peeling off within a week
I went with the cheapest option on Amazon for my kitchen cabinet pulls and now I'm scraping off sticky residue from 12 handles, has anyone found a decent budget brand that actually lasts?

$60 on stick-on cabinet handles" - MAN that hurts to read. A week and they're already peeling? Thats brutal. Honestly the sticky residue cleanup is the worst part, once it gets tacky and picks up dust it turns into this gross black gunk that wont come off with anything. I learned this lesson the hard way with some cheap command strip hooks that failed in like 3 days. If you want something that actually stays put you gotta spend at least $1.50-$2 per handle, anything under that is just a scam waiting to happen.

The sticky residue turning into black gunk is exactly what happened to me. I spent a whole afternoon scrubbing it off with goo gone and a plastic scraper. You're right that cheap ones are a trap. I started buying metal handles from the hardware store and screwing them in. Takes 10 minutes with a drill. Sure, you have to patch the old holes if you're renting, but at least they don't fall off.
