Wait, just one wall and the whole project was only $35?

@noahcampbell Thirty five bucks for a single wall is a steal. I once paid more than that for just the primer after I picked a color that looked like a good idea at the store but turned my living room into a giant bruise. My spouse still won't let me choose paint colors without adult supervision. But you're right, a single wall is cheap enough that you can repaint it after your mistake without crying over the money.

Forget the money, the real win is testing a bold color without the commitment. I painted a deep blue wall in my bedroom and lived with it for a week before deciding it was too dark. Since it was just that one wall, repainting it a lighter shade was cheap and easy. A full room in a wild color is a huge job to change, but one wall lets you experiment. That freedom to try something new is worth more than the paint itself.
