Swapped my old hollow core doors for some solid ones I found on Facebook Marketplace for $30 each
Honestly, the difference in sound and feel is night and day, my hallway doesn't echo like a cave anymore. Has anyone else found good deals on bulky stuff like doors or windows on there?

Dude solid doors for 30 bucks each is a steal. I grabbed a set of old french doors off marketplace last year for like 50 total and theyre way heavier than anything at the home depot. The soundproofing alone makes the whole house feel more private. People sleep on how much a door upgrade changes a room, its not just about looks. Plus you can sand them down and paint them any color you want without worrying about that cheap veneer peeling off.

Did you have to do any work to get those french doors fitting right or were they pretty standard sized?
