Pro tip: skip the cheap paint rollers, they will cost you more in the long run

I bought a pack of 6 rollers for $8 at the hardware store last month thinking I was saving money. First coat on my living room walls left so much lint behind I had to sand and repaint the whole thing. That $8 saved me nothing since I burned through an extra gallon of paint worth $40 fixing the mess. Anyone else had cheap rollers ruin a paint job?
