Overheard my neighbor say 'a can of paint is the cheapest renovation'
I was outside last Saturday and my neighbor was complaining to her friend about her kitchen cabinets. She said 'a can of paint is the cheapest renovation you'll ever do' and it really stuck with me. So I grabbed a $15 sample pot from Home Depot and painted my old bathroom vanity. It looks like a whole new piece of furniture for less than a dinner out. Anyone tried painting something unexpected like a tile floor or a metal light fixture?

Oh I've done tile floors with masonry paint and it actually held up pretty well for like a year and a half. Just make sure you clean and scuff the surface first or it'll peel right off.
