My neighbor insisted I paint my kitchen cabinets instead of replacing them...

I spent $45 on primer and paint and three weekends of my life, and honestly they look worse than the old chipped ones, has anyone else regretted trying this hack?

Polyurethane clear coat over the paint fixes the heat and moisture problem.

Wish someone had told me that paint on cabinets near the stove or sink always fails, no matter how careful you are.
