Just hit 50 bucks total on my kitchen makeover and it looks like a whole new room.

I was adding up receipts from thrift store frames and a can of paint, and that number shocked me. The biggest change was just painting the old cabinet doors a bright white, which cost maybe $30. Has anyone else been surprised by how little a big change can actually cost?

Yeah, a fresh coat of paint is crazy how much it changes things.

Tell that to my bathroom. Painted it three years ago and still have a drop cloth in the tub because I never put the stuff back.

Three years? I'd say that's more about procrastination than the paint.
