Can we talk about these peel and stick backsplash tiles

I put them in my kitchen in Austin three months ago and they started peeling off behind the stove within a month. The heat from cooking just melts the adhesive. I ended up taking them all down and painting the wall with a $12 can of Rust-Oleum instead. Anyone got a cheap fix for that corner near the stove that won't fall off again?

Man did you try using heat resistant adhesive or just stick with the kit stuff?

Swore by the kit stuff at first but after my third baffle warped I switched to that fiberglass reinforced high temp stuff. Best decision ever. That cheap stuff just crumbles after a couple hot cycles. You can get a tube at any auto parts store for like 12 bucks and it will outlast the whole build.
