Why does nobody warn you about fungus gnats coming out of a brand new bag of soil?
Bought two bags of potting mix from the nursery in Spokane two weeks ago and within four days my whole windowsill of seedlings was crawling with gnats. Sticky traps caught about 60 in one week and I'm still seeing them hover around my basil. Anybody got a fix that doesn't involve repotting everything, or do I just need to start baking my soil like a crazy person?
