Warned my neighbor about moving his fiddle leaf fig outside in one afternoon, and now I feel bad
He put it on the porch in Tucson on a 104 degree day and by 5pm about 8 leaves were crisp and brown on the edges. I get why people think more sun is better, but that sudden jump from indoor light to direct afternoon sun will fry almost anything. How long do you usually take to harden off houseplants before they go outside for the summer?
