Took me almost 6 months to figure out why my prayer plant kept getting brown tips

I tried filtered water, misting, a pebble tray, everything, but the leaves kept crisping up. Turns out it was the dry air from my forced air heating, which I didn't think about until February. Anyone else have a houseplant mystery that took way too long to crack?

Blamed everything except the obvious for months over here too. @sanchez.mia that cat theory hits close to home honestly. Turned out my cheap humidifier dying was the real culprit the whole time. Ngl brown tips drove me nuts but a simple humidity gauge fixed it.
