Took 8 months to figure out why my monstera kept drooping

My monstera was fine all spring, then started drooping every single week no matter what I did. Watered less, watered more, moved it to three different windows in my apartment in Austin. Turns out the nursery pot had a hidden inner liner that was trapping water at the roots. Pulled it out last Sunday, repotted into a normal terracotta pot, and it perked up within 2 days. Has anyone else found a hidden drainage issue like that? It was such a stupid simple fix.

Did you check the drainage holes in the new pot before you moved it?
