That $60 'self-watering' pot system was a complete lie

Bought a set of self-watering pots from a gardening site and they just flooded my ficus and turned the soil into mud. Anyone else get burned by those supposedly idiot-proof planters?

Man people act like the universe is personally out to get them when a user does something dumb. It's just a saying, not a philosophical challenge. Companies put "idiot proof" on stuff to sell it, not because they think we live in a sitcom. Olivia's overthinking this way too much, its just marketing talk.
