Picked the fiddle leaf fig over the monstera for my one good south window, feeling unsure
Last weekend I stood in the greenhouse in Portland for 40 minutes holding a fiddle leaf fig in one hand and a monstera in the other, and I finally went with the fig because that south window gets bright light all day. Three weeks in, the monstera would have been fine either way but the fig has already pushed out two new leaves near the top. The bottom leaves are a little dusty and one has a brown tip, which I think is just from the move. I water it every 9 days and mist it twice a week, and so far so good. Anyone else keep a fiddle leaf in a full sun window, or did I set myself up for a slow death?
