My kitchen herbs keep wilting in the dim corner

I moved them to a spot that only gets indirect light, and they're not happy. What's a good plant for a dark kitchen area, or should I try a different setup?

Oh wow, I totally get this! My basil gave up on life in a similar shady spot last year. Herbs are just too needy with light, they really want that direct sun. I switched to a snake plant in my dark kitchen corner, and it's doing great without any fuss. You could also try a pothos, they're pretty hard to kill even in low light. Or maybe get a small grow light if you're set on herbs, but that's extra work.

Yeah, I've murdered more herbs in shady spots than I'd like to admit. My rosemary looked so sad it made me feel guilty. Nancy's totally right, most herbs just won't work there. A snake plant or a pothos is the way to go, they're tough and don't need much. I have a ZZ plant in my dark bathroom that's practically fake it's so low effort. A cheap grow light could save your herb dreams, but honestly, the easy plants are less stress.
