I finally stopped killing my indoor plants after a friend called me out

My buddy came over and saw my sad fiddle leaf fig in the corner. He said, 'You're treating it like a cactus, but it wants a humid bathroom.' I moved it to the guest bath about two months ago, and it's put out three new leaves already. Anyone else have a plant that totally turned around after a simple location change?

Honestly, I've had the opposite happen. I moved a perfectly happy plant for more light and it threw a fit. Sometimes they just get used to their spot, good or bad.

Ever feel like plants are just moody teenagers? Mine seem to thrive on neglect until I try to help them. Then they just give up.
