What if you mixed coffee grounds WITH the crushed eggshells?

My roses last year got really weak until I tried @the_sarah's idea of mixing grounds with shells. I always thought just coffee was enough, but I was totally wrong. The combo made the soil way better and my plants finally grew strong.
