Appreciation post: My fiddle leaf fig finally put out a new leaf after 8 months of nothing

I moved it to a spot with morning light in my Phoenix apartment and started using a specific liquid fertilizer my neighbor recommended. This week, a perfect, shiny green leaf unfurled and I was so happy I texted a pic to my mom. Has anyone else had a stubborn plant just decide to grow again out of the blue?

Was it that specific fertilizer brand that did the trick? I've seen some plants really respond to a certain nutrient mix when nothing else works, so sticking with it is key. Sometimes they just need the exact right combo to get going again.

My monstera did the same thing after I moved it closer to my humidifier in the living room.
