Accidentally grew mint in my car's cupholder for 3 months

I tossed a sprig of mint from my garden into a water bottle in my car and forgot about it. After a summer of Texas heat and spilled coffee, I found roots winding through the cupholder and a whole plant happily growing in the spilled dirt. Has anyone else had plants take over random spots like that?

Man that is SO impressive and also kind of a nightmare at the same time. I've had things sprout in weird places before but a full on mint plant in a CUPholder after three months of Texas heat and coffee spills is next level. I absolutely believe it too because mint is basically unkillable - I planted some in my yard once and now it's trying to take over my driveway. The roots winding through the cupholder part really got me because that's exactly what mint does, it just finds a way no matter what. Honestly I'm a little jealous because your cupholder mint probably smells better than my car does right now.
