That $200 wireless thermometer I bought ended up being a waste
I dropped $200 on a fancy Bluetooth thermometer setup because I wanted to monitor my brisket from inside the house. Worked great for the first two cooks, then the probe started reading 30 degrees off on the third one. Ended up pulling a 16lb brisket early because the app said it hit 203. Meat came out like shoe leather... totally ruined. Called customer support and they basically told me to buy new probes for $50 each. Anyone else had luck with the cheaper probe models you can buy at Academy?

Dude, SAME thing happened to me with a different brand. Probe went haywire after two uses and I pulled a pork butt early that turned into total shoe leather.
