Spent $30 on a wireless meat thermometer at a Bass Pro in Springfield, and my $8 dial probe from 2016 beat it in a brisket test
Ran both probes side by side through a 14 hour packer last weekend and the fancy one read 12 degrees off at the stall while the cheap dial was dead on, so now I'm wondering if the whole remote monitoring thing is just selling convenience instead of accuracy, anybody else ditched the app for a plain dial?
