Dropped $300 on a fancy wireless meat probe set and it's been a total game changer

The constant temp graphs on my phone let me nail a perfect brisket flat last weekend without babysitting the smoker all night. Anyone else using these or still sticking with the old-school dial thermometers?

My trusty old Taylor dial thermometer has never let me down in fifteen years. I just don't see the need for all the extra tech when a simple poke gets the job done. Sometimes the old ways are still the best.

Agree, my old dial one still works fine too.

Come on, the old dial is a guessing game! My wireless probe showed me the temp swings I never knew about. That brisket would have been dry or undercooked without seeing the graph. It's not about being lazy, it's about getting real data for perfect results.
