Watched a kid's haircut transform from 'mushroom cloud' to clean lineup in 20 minutes flat

Kid came in with hair that looked like his mom let a bowl do the cutting, and I was dreading it. After a 1 on the sides and some scissor work on top, he looked like a totally different person. Has anyone else had a before-and-after that made you double take?

That moment when a fresh haircut shifts a kid's whole vibe is seriously underrated in terms of confidence building. The bowl cut look usually means the parents were just trying to save time, but a proper lineup gives the kid a totally different energy at school. Did the barber use any product to hold that new style in place.

A light pomade works best for kids. Rub a tiny amount between your palms first, it won't weigh the hair down or make it greasy. Tell the barber to hit the hairline with a little gel and a comb, keeps it clean all day.
