Tried a feather razor on a client with super sensitive skin, big mistake
So on Saturday I had this regular who comes in every 3 weeks, always gets a straight razor neck shave, never had an issue. I decided to try one of those feather blades I got from a barber supply place in Austin. Man, within 5 minutes his neck was bright red and he said it felt like burning. I had to switch to my usual Derby blade and use cold towels to calm it down. He left saying he'd give me another shot, but I learned that feather blades are not for everyone. Anyone else have a blade that just doesn't work on certain skin types, or am I the only one who got burned by the hype?
