That time I spent 4 hours fixing a trim line I messed up in 2 minutes
Ngl, I was doing a hot towel shave on a regular client last Tuesday, and I got too confident with my trimmer on his neckline. Took me almost 4 hours to fix that one little slip, fading it back in and making sure the blend was clean on both sides. I had to reschedule two other clients because I kept reworking the fade. Has anyone else had a tiny mistake turn into a whole afternoon of damage control?

Ever think a 10 minute fix would still be worth 4 hours of work? I used to doubt that, but not anymore.

My buddy Dave spent 3 hours last weekend fixing a dent in his truck that he put in while backing out of his own driveway. That's the universe's way of teaching you a lesson about getting too sure of yourself I guess. The little mistakes always cost way more time than the big ones because you gotta undo whatever you did wrong and then rebuild it piece by piece. I've noticed it with everything from painting a room to installing a new faucet. The 10 minute screw up always turns into a half day project.
