Spent $120 on a new trimmer, went back to my old one after 2 weeks

Tbh I thought my old Wahl was done after 6 years of heavy use. Bought a fancy cordless one with all the bells and whistles for $120. Blade got hot, battery died mid-cut on a client in Tulsa, and the feel was just off. Pulled my old one out, cleaned it, oiled it, and it runs like a dream. Anyone else ever regret upgrading when the old tool just needed maintenance?
